2013 in Review | Southern Maryland Photographer

It's been a great year....looking forward to 2014!!!  Thanks to everyone who allowed me to capture their special moments.

Mother and Son Session | St. Mary's County Family Photographer

Tammy took advantage of a last minute mini session offer I had right before Christmas.  She wanted the photos to be a gift for her parents so I waited to share them.  She said Gavin really enjoyed the session which I love to hear.  I try to keep them fun for kids so they don't get bored.  I mix in a lot of walking, talking, and location changes so they don't feel so forced to sit and smile.  Let's face it...that type of photography is boring for the photographer as well ;)

 

Cooper Boys | Southern Maryland Child Photographer

One of my favorite Instagram Mom's that I follow became one of my clients.  That's part of the awesomeness of Instagram.   I was so excited to get these two in front of my camera.  Aren't they just the cutest!!!

At first Jaxson wasn't so sure about the whole process but after I found some trains for us to play with he warmed up to it all.  Knox was just happy to be sitting in the middle of the action.

 

Little Miss Brooke | Southern Maryland Infant Photographer

I was honored to be chosen as little Miss Brooke's very first photographer and let me just say this little lady rocked her session.  She didn't even blink at the multiple outfit changes and only needed one small break for a bottle.  Four month's can sometimes be a tough age because they are at that in between stage.  No longer sleepy bitty's but not quite able to sit up and support themselves yet.  This means lots of laying poses and tummy time, which in my experience most kids (mine included) hate.

I'm sure to Brooke I looked like some crazy, loud monster with a large black eye lol but she handled it well.
